Genaro Garcia Luna

Genaro García Luna is a Mexican politician, Secretary of Public Security of the Government of Felipe Calderon Hinojosa.

Genaro García Luna holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Autonomous Metropolitan University. From 1989 till 1998 he worked at the Center for Research and National Security (CISEN) as a researcher, and from 1998 to 2000 he was General Coordinator of Intelligence of the Federal Preventive Police. Since 2000 - General Director  for Planning and operation of the new Federal Investigation Agency (AFI).
